Cannabis-infused citrus-caramel blondies
These show-stopping blondies contain cannabutter, orange zest, and caramel. The recipe is a tweaked version of Sarah Simmons's, with cannabutter replacing unsalted butter. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days after they've been created.
Pasta with clams and green chiles
This dish is a revised form of one created by Andrew Brochu, with cannabutter replacing some of the unsalted butter called for in the original recipe. (You'll need one tablespoon of cannabutter and three tablespoons of unsalted butter.) The chile mixture can be prepared the day before and refrigerated overnight if you want to get a head start on the recipe—just make sure to bring it to room temperature before using it.
Olive oil citrus cake
This citrus and cannabis-infused dessert have a texture akin to cornmeal cake, with layers of acidic sweetness added by a vivid citrus glaze and fresh fruit. Serve as a dessert with a dollop of crème Fraiche or mascarpone on top.
Cannabis-infused Salted Coconut Caramels
One of our favorite products in America is Fat Toad Farm Goat’s Milk Caramel and it has a lot to do with the fact that the grassiness of the goat milk creates an herbaceous depth to offset the sweetness of the candy. The same thing going on here, Cannabis helps cut the rich caramels and add a new dimension.
Cannabis pizza
We can never go wrong with pizza! Few things work better together than weed and pizza. It’s the perfect salty, gooey, greasy food that needs no utensils, no dress code, and no reservations whatsoever. But while most people would say, “why not just smoke a joint and order a pizza?” This recipe is a really fun way to infuse THC right into the crust, making it a dynamite cannabinoid delivery system. We also love this recipe because it’s the type of edible recipe that isn’t 100% practical. It’s not meant to create a quick delivery system like gummies, or a condiment like cannabis sugar. Instead, this is a recipe that you whip up for the fun of it — and then for the high of it.
Chocolate chip cookies
Classic and very easy to make! This recipe modifies one of the most cost-effective American meals from the twentieth century for the legalizing frenzy of the twenty-first century. It's just as easy as the Toll House chocolate chip cookies recipe, with the exception that cannabis butter is used rather than butter. The end product is a delectable cannabis dessert that's ideal for a late-night snack or to offer to house visitors as a parting gift.
