fun weed games

Guaranteed good time with you, your bud, and buddies!

Sitting around in a circle, passing around a joint, and staring at the same old boring faces has little entertainment value. These days people turn to video games in a mindless quest for stimulation. Everyone zones out stares blankly at the television and stops all intelligent communication. Aren’t there any social weed games out there? Of course, there are!

Here are the best cannabis games for stimulation and entertainment that don't rely on pointless video games. The following should make you stoned, laughing, and most importantly, social.

1. The game of beer pong has long been a favorite at fraternity parties, but have you heard of bong pong? The setup is the same, but the penalty is no longer sipping a cheap, warm beer.

Instead of smashing a drink, participants are now expected to hit the bong.

Why not blend the best of both games to make it more intriguing (and significantly more intoxicating)? One player takes a bong hit after sinking the ping pong ball into a dixie cup of beer. The other player is required to drink the beer.

2. Smokin’ Dice

A hot commodity in headshops everywhere, it’s still difficult to find online. Smokin’ Dice is a game of chance, based on a set of specially designed dice. Each side has an instruction that you must follow if rolled. Each of the four dice rolls together and their instructions combine for a hilarious experience.

For example, you could roll:

“Player of your choice,” “Takes 2 tokes,” “While spinning in a circle,” and “Laughing as loud as they can.”

Or someone else might get:

“You,” “Take a Puff,” “In Slow Motion,” and “Dance.”

It’s all about the luck of the roll!

3. Stoner Jenga

You should already have a Jenga game lying around your house somewhere, especially if you are still living at home with your parents. Transforming the game into the perfect stoner rendition is easy. It also might help to get stoned first to get your creative juices flowing.

On the long edge of each block write out instructions, like “Take a puff and pass,” “Tell a deep, dark secret,” or “Take the next block with your eyes closed.” Use your imagination! Assemble the standard Jenga tower, and begin! Every time someone pulls out a block, they have to follow the instructions. Make sure to have your stash handy, as you’ll obviously have many blocks telling you to get high.

4. Stone, paper, scissors

Stone, Paper, Scissors is simply the toking vision of Rock, Paper, Scissors. It’s one of the weed games that works great in small groups of two to four people, but it can be done at larger gatherings too. You just have to play via a process of elimination until it’s down to a one-on-one grand championship. Just throw your choice of stone, paper, scissors, and the winner gets to take a hit. It’s the ultimate in low-tech entertainment.

5. Never have I ever…

Remember this game from your high school days ? It’s still a classic, especially if you are trying to get to know a bunch of new friends quickly. In this version, instead of drinking your admissions, everyone has to have a joint lit and toke them. If you are not familiar with the rules, they go like this:

  • One person starts off the game by saying, “Never have I ever….smoked a joint.”

  • Everyone takes a puff if they have, while anyone who hasn’t has to stay still.

  • The next person in the game poses the same question with a different ending. People respond in kind by smoking.

  • The process repeats until all your deepest secrets are out in the open.

  • Be prepared to learn some filthy things about the people in the circle!
