Here’s Where To Celebrate Juneteenth Around D.C. This Year 

The sun is shining brighter than ever, and it’s time to commemorate Juneteenth with some festive celebration! This year in the Washington D.C area, many events are being organized to honor this important day – from street marches to grassroots gatherings. Overview

At Juneteenth DC, there are several events lined up, including a march at 10:00 AM from the Freedom Plaza to the National Mall and a performance from the Emory Douglas Artists Collective at 12:00 PM. You can also participate in workshops, discussions, a youth festival and much more. Kennedy Center

Washington DC is hosting a range of events to celebrate Juneteenth. At the Kennedy Center, Reframing the Narrative is taking place from June 14-19 with performances from the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Ballethnic Dance Company, and Collage Dance Collective.
