Love in the Clouds

Valentine’s Day, a day of love right in the middle of Black History Month is almost here! Weed might be involved in your love life, if it’s an activity you love, you probably want to share that with your other love, so weed can become a significant factor in romantic relationships, and possibly even be a dating deal breaker. It is definitely interesting to see how open and honest people are about their habits when dating, especially because weed unfortunately has a slight taboo, although fortunately it is becoming more decriminalized and de-stigmatized as more information, awareness, comfort and reform spread. Many people lie or hide the habit or practice rather than be upfront and honest about it on their dating profiles or in initial stages of meeting, and only share once in communication or later down the road, maybe it’s due to jobs and being online or maybe it is just a stigma and fear that people are wary of and thus tread lightly? Either way it would be amazing to see a dating app that hooked up other weed lovers and supporters with each other!

Obviously there is no rule book to who you date, but as a weed smoker, it does get strange when you puff, puff, pass, and get turned down, sharing is caring (even or especially when it relates to a moment or how you spend moments). After some time, you may realize that you may enjoy your partner more if they smoked with you or used it too currently; the kinds of memories you can build with someone vary based on if they participate or not with you.

Most important, is that you are loved, accepted and not judged and can continue to enjoy and be yourself according to your own needs, desires and discipline, and are not infringing on your own happiness or prerogative. It can get nerve wracking to feel like you have to tame, hide, or perfume your smoke because your partner doesn’t or is not crazy about it, not a good place or space. In order to have an authentic and happy relationship, with polar opposite or with very similar partners, both must be friends to one another and be able co-exist and accept each-others habits without judgement, determination or control, only authentic support.

Cannabis use might actually be an indicator that a person is open to and craves deeper thought, feeling, experience, love, adventure, euphoria, and more. One thing is for sure, if you are a smoker you probably have a sexier life! No matter what kind of relationship you are in, whether it is with someone sweet or with your sweet self, Lucky Chuckie has DC covered this Valentine’s week and can deliver!! Light it up, soak in some bubbles, order-in food and weed and treat yourself or your boo!
